Version Management

• Versioning Overview

  You can configure Allegra to version specific item types in specific workspaces. This allows you to have multiple versions of an item in parallel, compare versions, and revert to a previous version. This feature is especially useful for Wiki documents.

• Configure versioning

  To use the “Versioning” feature, you need to configure the relevant workspace types, item types, and workspaces accordingly.

• Working with Document Versions

  To use the “Versioning” feature, you must configure the relevant workspace types, item types, and workspaces accordingly.

• Working with Baselines

  To create a baseline, the user must select a branch. The baseline that will be created is based on the selected branch.

• Working with Branches

  To create a branch in a workspace in the Wiki Navigator, click on the workspace to open the context menu. When you select “Create Branch”, you will be able to choose between inheritance mode and copy mode.
