The Allegra Wiki allows you to share and collaborate with your team members on documents. Wiki documents can be exported to Word documents based on Word templates or exported as PDF documents based on HTML templates.

To create a new document, go to the Wiki Navigator and right-click on a workspace or revision node. Then click on “Add Document” or another specific type of document offered.

  • Create Document Sections

To create a new document section, go to the Wiki Navigator and right-click on a document or document section node. Then click on “Add Document Section”.

  • Editing Content

Wiki is not a complete replacement for a word processor. However, it has all the essential functions to create high quality documents.

  • Multilingual Documents

You can manage any document in multiple languages. Through a language selector, you can select the language to be displayed for the entire Wiki.

  • Item Embedding

You can embed any item in a document section. This is especially useful when you are working with requirements or test specifications and want to keep the requirements separate from the document with informative text. In addition, you can reuse items in different documents.

  • Attribute Embedding

You can embed attributes of the document or document section in a document text. This allows you to display all metadata of a document, such as agent and state in the document itself.

  • Read and Comment on Wiki

You can allow any or specific users to read and comment on Wiki documents. There are special permissions in the roles/permissions system for this purpose.

  • Export Documents

You can create an MS Word document from a Wiki document with an MS Word template. Also, you can create PDF documents from Wiki documents based on HTML templates.

  • Creating HTML Templates

You can create PDF documents from a Wiki document using HTML/FreeMarker templates. This section explains how to convert text and metadata from your Wiki document into PDF documents using an HTML/FreeMarker template.

  • Create Word Template

To create a new Word template, use a Word template that you created with the OpenDoPE authoring tool plug-in for MS Word.

  • Embed Wiki into a Website

You can embed the Wiki in a standard website. You can assign your own style sheet to customize the Wiki appearance.
