Version Control Systems

You can link Allegra to version control systems such as Subversion, Git, Gitlab, or CVS.

Allegra automatically creates links between items and associated files and commits in version control systems. The linking is done either by periodically querying the repository log files (SVN, CVS) or by events in the version control system (Git, Gitlab).

For the query case, a scan takes place every 10 minutes initially. The scan time is measured, and the delay between scans is set to twice the scan time. For example, if the scan time for all repositories is 20 minutes, the repositories are scanned once every hour.

The values for the initial scan time and the delay factor can be found in the file TRACKPLUS_HOME/quartz-jobs.xml.
