Lists for Default Attributes¶
There are four item attributes hard-coded into the system that provide you with a choice of attribute values: Item type, Item state, Priority, and Severity.
Manage Item Types: Each item belongs to an item type such as “improvement proposal”, “milestone” or “problem report”. You can delete available item types, change them and add new ones. Item types are defined globally. However, you can define for each workspace type which item types are available for a workspace.
ref:manageItemStatus: You can add new task states to the list of available task states and modify or delete existing ones. For each item type, workspace type or workspace, you can select which task states are available in the user interface.
ref:managePriority: With the priority you can represent how urgent an item is. You can also use it to express the importance of an item. The priority is especially useful for unscheduled items, i.e. items that do not have any dates. The priority can be used, together with the impact, to implement the Eisenhower principle.
Manage Impact: The impact or criticality defines how serious it would be if a given item were not processed. The impact can be used, together with the priority, to implement the Eisenhower principle.
