Export to XML File

You can export all information for the items displayed in the Item Navigator to a user-defined XML file.

The XML format is useful when you are designing your own report templates. You can easily design your report templates locally on your client computer using the JasperSoft Studio design software and test your reports with real data. If everything works as intended, you can then upload your new template to the server.

• Click the “Action” button and choose Export > XML from the menu.

• Download the XML file to your local computer. You can use this file to create report templates with JasperSoft Studio.
